How do I use TruChat?
Using TruChat is simple. Enter your username, gender identity, age, country, and state, then click "Start Chatting Now." You can begin as a guest without creating an account. After entering, you can browse online users, start a random chat, or use filters to choose who you want to talk to.
Do I need to register to chat?
No. TruChat lets you start chatting without registration. Registration is optional and may unlock extra features such as profile customization, username claiming, friend/favourite options, and reconnect tools.
How do I message someone online?
After entering TruChat, go to the Online Users section. You will see a live list of active users in the left sidebar. Click on the person you want to chat with, type your message in the chat box, and press Send.
Can I use Random Chat?
Yes. TruChat includes a Random Chat option where you can instantly connect with someone online. You can also skip or move to the next chat when needed.
Is TruChat safe?
TruChat is designed with safety controls such as first-message limits, link blocking, report tools, block options, spam detection, and moderation systems. However, you should still be careful when speaking with strangers online. Do not share private information, passwords, financial details, or exact location.
What happens when I block someone?
When you block a user, they are moved to your Blocked Users list. They should no longer be able to message you, and they will be removed from your normal chat interaction where appropriate. You can unblock users later from the Blocked Users section.
Will my chat history be saved?
Guest chat history is temporary. It remains available only during the current session and may be cleared when you log out, become inactive, or the session expires. Permanent chat history is not saved for guests.
Can I change my username?
Guest users cannot change their username after entering. Username changes are available only after registration or login.
Can I edit my profile?
Yes. Users can update profile details such as gender identity, age, country, state, status message, bio, and optional "More About Me" fields. Some profile features may require registration.
What kind of people use TruChat?
TruChat is for adults who want fast, simple, one-on-one conversations with real people online. Users may come to chat casually, make friends, pass time, or meet someone new from different locations.
Is TruChat for users under 18?
No. TruChat is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older.
